Plywood Thickness Availability:

MDF vs. Plywood

MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard): Made from wood fibers compressed into a smooth board. It’s dense, smooth, and ideal for painting but isn’t as strong as plywood.

Plywood: Composed of layers of wood veneers that provide superior strength and flexibility, making it better suited for structural uses.

How to Finish Plywood:

Plywood can be used outdoors if treated properly. For outdoor applications, opt for marine plywood or plywood with water-resistant treatments. You may also need to seal it to prevent moisture damage.
